Program Description:
The Master of Arts (MA) in Sports Journalism exists to help students master the elements of journalism and human performance, including an obligation to truth, accuracy, and independence. Communication skills and journalism expertise are valued in various career sectors. Students who pursue an MA in sports journalism from University of the Southwest (USW) will be trained to become proficient writers, speakers, and researchers having a solid theoretical foundation complemented by the ability to match targeted messages to audience needs.
