College Night is a monthly gathering for college students in the community to get together and take a break from the grind of being a college student. The features of college night are Free food, Free fellowship, and Free Fun! At each gathering students are given a free home cooked meal, free lattes from the coffee bar, and entertainment and encouragement from fellow college students. Campus ministries is proud to be able to partner with local churches to minister to students through events like College Night.
In Fall 2015 Campus Ministries also added a new program known as CATCH which stands for “Connecting Athletic Teams with Churches” Each athletic team at the University of the Southwest is adopted by a local church. Part of this program partnership involves prayer and devotional opportunities with teams before games, occasional meals with the teams at the church homes, support at home games and traveling on the road, and more.
