Apply to Graduate
All Undergraduate and Graduate students must submit their intent to graduate form online through the USW Self-Service portal.
Students are advised to meet with an advisor for a final degree audit and verify that all requirements are in progress, before submission of application.
Students who fail to meet graduation requirements by the date indicated on the Application for Degree (Diploma) must reapply. Changes to applications must be submitted by email to registrar@usw.edu early in the semester.
Degree Application Fees
The Degree Application Fee cannot be waived, refunded or carried to a future semester.
- $70 for undergraduate (Bachelors) degrees
- $90 for graduate (Masters) degrees
- $90 for graduate (Doctoral) degrees
Clearing Holds & Financial Aid Exit Counseling
Degrees will not be conferred until any outstanding holds or Financial Aid Exit Counseling are cleared from the student’s account.
Commencement Participation
Confirm if you will be participating in Commencement by submitting the intent to graduate form.
USW does not have a store to rent regalia. Please if you wish to participate in the commencement ceremony please order your regalia via Jostens.
