Theoretical Physicist: Michio Kaku

Dr. Michio Kaku is a theoretical physicist, renowned futurist, professor, acclaimed public speaker, bestselling author, and popularizer of science. Dr. Kaku graduated from Harvard University in 1968 and received his PhD in physics in 1972 from the University of California at Berkeley.
Dr. Michio Kaku is an internationally recognized authority in two areas. The first is Einstein’s unified field theory, as Dr. Kaku carries on Einstein’s quest to unite the four fundamental forces of nature into a single grand unified theory of everything. The other is to predict trends affecting business, commerce and finance based on the latest research in science.
Dr. Kaku is the author of several international best sellers, including Physics of the Impossible, Physics of the Future, and his most recent, The Future of the Mind: The Scientific Quest to Understand, Enhance, and Empower the Mind. This book gives readers a solid sense of how the brain functions and also how advanced technologies could alter the brain and change daily lives.
As an acclaimed public speaker Dr. Kaku has lectured at Rollins College, Southern Methodist University, Southern Illinois University, Microsoft, Chase Bank, Nokia, Walt Disney, and Business week.
Dr. Kaku has appeared on 60 Minutes, CNN, Good Morning America, the Larry King Show, and ABC News. He has also appeared in various science specials including Einstein Revealed, PBS’s Steven Hawking’s Universe, and the Discovery Channel. In 2001, he was nominated for an Emmy for the 90 minute feature film, Me and Isaac Newton. He has written for The Wall Street Journal, TIME, Discover, The Washington Post, The London Times and The New York Times.
Today he frequently keynotes for business conferences about the next 20 years in computers, finance, and commerce.
