Concurrent Enrollment Form

Concurrent enrollment at University of the Southwest and any other college or university is permitted. However, the total semester hour load cannot exceed the limit permitted by USW, as stated under "Student Load" in the USW Catalog. A student planning to enroll concurrently must complete a Concurrent Enrollment form. Students must obtain approval from his or her academic advisor. Concurrent enrollment form must then be filed with the Office of the Registrar prior to concurrent enrollment.

Students must have transcripts or grades sent to the Office of the Registrar within sixty days of course completion. Failure to secure prior approval may result in forfeiture of concurrent credit and may affect degree status. Dual enrollment courses include Internet, correspondence, and other distance-learning courses, as well as traditional courses at other colleges and universities.
